When the howling is true,
Hold the hunt in the midnight blue,
Put on my favorite hiking shoes,
I’m just striding in my covered toes,
Dancing to Garcia and the Boys,
Bret howling, “Have you found real love?!?!?!”
In the Evensburg Forest,
That is where I feel the largest,
Like the Doctor and his TARDIS,
We are all bigger on the inside.
Standing in the forest,
I feel mother nature moving through,
While I’m standing in the forest,
I hear birds and the witch’s start their brew,
Smoke is the tree that grows the tallest,
Dancing sisters and brother are few,
While I'm standing in the forest,
There is swaying tree beside me,
Returning the peace from long ago,
Bound for Glory,
Let the light be my story.
I see those who are all over the spectrum,
“I can see El Salvador,”
I hear the words through an unfiltered world,
Our truths as sacred as King Author’s sword,
It is like a mighty symphony,
That we play to please the sky,
I watch the birds fly by and by.
With so much left to do,
A loving sight from Gia,
Life is made for you and I,
I see the flies of stardust,
The ancient ones still whisper,
The thoughts that will arrest her,
Bring things together in a twister,
And then to a rest.
Like sitting on a porch at the Forth of July,
I’m here to caught the fire flies,
Somewhere between you and me,
I’m just lying in a field,
Listening to something real,
That the squirrels cannot steal.
Standing in a forest,
Throw a stone till it rolls,
A beautiful day and a stroll,
Is a world without telephone poles
And the trees will play their roles.
